Find and update the software version on your HTC Touch Diamond

Just like your computer, the software on your phone needs to be updated periodically to make sure you have all the latest fixes and enhancements to keep it running at optimal performance. Follow the steps below to check your current version and perform any needed updates.

Check the version on your phone
To check the version on your phone:

Tap Start.
Tap Settings.
Select the System tab.
Tap Device Information.

The Version tab displays the ROM version and PRL.
The Hardware tab displays details such as RAM/ROM used space and free space.
The Identity tab lists the model number, platform, and the MDN.

The software version is listed in the format X.XX.XXX.X
