A software update corrects the following issue with your LG Lotus.
If you access your threaded text messages by selecting Menu > Messages > Text Messages > Choose a Thread, and the person's phone number is stored in your Contacts list, the Contact's name will display at the top of the message screen but his or her phone number instead of name will display in the message thread.
To fix this, please update your handset software to version LX600V08 or greater.
