Fix an issue when the camera application on your BlackBerry Curve 8350i smartphone may not immediately launch

Last updated: Jan 28, 2010

A software update corrects the following issue with your BlackBerry® Curve" 8350i smartphone.

When closing certain third party applications and then attempting to launch the camera on your BlackBerry Curve 8350i smartphone, you may receive an error message instructing you to close the other applications; however, the camera application may not open even after the other applications are closed. This is due to a memory clearing delay that prevents the camera application from opening immediately.

To fix this, please update your handset software to version v4.6.1.128 (225) or greater.

Note: At any time, you can check that you have the latest software version for your phone. For instructions on how to check your software version and update your phone software, refer to Check for Updates.
